Origin[]
Like it's brother game of Jumanji Zathura came out as a game that anyone who saw the movie wished it could be real. To go on a space adventure, battle aliens and seek far off planets was all little kids wanted to do. Much like the exhibition with Jumanji and the board game a copy of the board game that was used in the movie went on tour with the film. The board game was touched by thousands of children whose main wish was to travel through the stars and because of all those wishes and hope it became a real way to travel to space. Direct information about the game is as follows: "Zathura: Attention space-adventurers, Zathura awaits. Do you have what it takes to navigate the galaxy? It's not for the faint of heart, for once you embark on your journey, there's no turning back until Zathura's reached. Pieces reset at the end of each game. Play again and again for different adventures."
Effects[]
When the key is turned and the launch button is pressed the numbers will come up and a card will come out. Reading the card will activate the event, refusing to read it doubles the trouble that comes with the card. The only way to neutralize the game is to finish it, the neutralizing goo has no effect.
Collection[]
Will not work outside or inside an apartment but will work in a house and possibly even the Warehouse.
-Agent Torres' Notes-
When the game is used the 'players' become cationic. The board game has a protective shield around it until the players complete the game. Non Artifact objects appear futile when getting through to the board to neutralize it from the outside. It is unknown what will happen to the players if an Artifact could be used to get to the game long enough to neutralize it.
