Origin[]
Yi Sam-pyeong was the name chosen by Kanagae Sanbe (19th century). However most accounts of Sanbe were tentative at best, with most historians unsure on most of his life. There was no denying that Sanbe existed, as evidenced by the ornate pieces of pottery that was discovered including a clay vase. The clay vase was unique in the sense that Sanbe was more famous for his pottery work with Imari porcelain. The last details of Sanbe's life show that he was banished from Taku where he migrated to and where he earned the nickname as one of the "Original Potters of Taku". It's safe to think that before being forced from his home, Sanbe forged the Clay Vase to prove to the king that his work was superior above all others.
This vase can be seen in several episodes resideing in the Dark Vault, starting with "Breakdown".
Effects[]
Imbued with Yi Sam-pyeong's anger and shame the Clay Vase will actively seek out any nearby life force to repair itself when broken. If there is no one around it with push out an aura to draw people towards it. Neutralized in the Dark Vault there is a line drawn around it to show how far reaching the aura can now go. Stepping inside the line while it is broken will allow it to steal a person's life force.
