Walt Disney's Pen
Things could go exactly how you want it

And I could be exactly how you want me to be
But I know I'll never be the one
And when farewell is said and done
It's probably best for everyone
If I'm never seen again

Origin[]

Walter Elias Disney (1901 - 1966) was an American entrepreneur, animator, writer, voice actor and film producer. A pioneer of the American animation industry and founder of one of the largest entertainment industries in the world. Disney and his company found fame and fortune in the adaptation of classic fairy tales for theatrical release, known in part for being much more light-hearted and family friendly than their source materials.

Walt Disney himself (and after his death, his company) made efforts to censor Walt's own life so as to make him appear like a kinder, innovative, and more innocent person; this includes hiding his habit of smoking cigarettes, the production of World War II propoganda films, claims he was racist, anti-Semitic, and a Nazi sympathizer, among other things.

Effects[]

This pen allows someone to rewrite their own life story or that of another into one that is happier - rather than truly reshaping history, however, this pen merely changes the chosen person's memory and identity, giving them a fictional name, personality, (hazy) past, and present life.

Collection[]

This artifact has yet to be collected in canon.

This artifact was collected from TBA mayor Shion Ogawa after the search for and discovery of Dakota Foley and Wilco Haze.

Trivia[]

  • This artifact and its story were directly inspired by the ABC series Once Upon a Time, specifically both the Dark Curse, which brought fairy tale characters to the real world, and the role of the Author, one charged with recording the stories of the worlds with the aid of a reality-warping magic pen.
    • Coincidentally, in the show's canon, Walt Disney himself was an Author.
  • This artifact can be considered a counterpart to Ludwig II of Bavaria's Drafting Compass.
