Origin[]
Wally Schirra was a naval officer, aviator, test pilot and one of the original seven astronauts chosen for Project Mercury, America’s first space program. He was the fifth American and the ninth human to ride a rocket into space, the first to go up three times and the only person to have flown on the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo programs. He performed several space rendezvouses and was normally in command of the life control systems.
On the Gemini mission, he faked a UFO/Santa Claus sighting on Christmas Day and played ‘’Jingle Bells on his smuggled abroad harmonica. During the Apollo 7 mission, he caught a head cold, passed it to another astronaut and had a grumpy conversation with mission control.
Effects[]
Each patch will make the person behave silly and childish when they’re not doing their job at work. This normally builds comedic tension between the user and their coworkers. The Apollo patch in particular has the ability to transmit an infectious but mild head cold that only causes increased irritability.
