Origin[]
The precise origins of this sharpener is unknown, however it is presumed to be a frustrated student in the school it was collected from.
Effects[]
This handheld sharpener is impossible to successfully use. Any pencil inserted will either break upon turning the sharpener, no matter how thick or sturdy the pencil is, or come out poorly sharpened.
Collection[]
Collected by Arthur Nielson in 2001 from [REDACTED] elementary school, along with a cache of other artifacts.
Notes[]
Attempts have been made to replace parts of this artifact to improve its performance, such as replacing the blades. However, its existence as an artifact prevent it from being taken apart by any means short of destruction, even if neutralized. It should be noted, however, that at no point does graphite from broken pencils become lodged inside the device, which would prevent it from doing anything at all. This has been proven to not be an effect of being an artifact.
