Origin[]
Father Thomas Byles studied theology under the Oxford umbrella and late converted to Catholicism, ordained for priesthood in Rome. He was invited to America by his younger brother William to consummate his wedding. Passage was abroad the RMS Titanic. During the voyage, he held Mass and confessions for second- and third-class passengers. When the unsinkable ship began drowning, Byles calmly addressed those unable to reach the lifeboats with prayer.
Effects[]
Fills itself with the concerns and anxiety of all the activator interacts with. Every bothersome fear just disappears, with people acting more rationally without rushing decisions. Especially strong when recipients are total strangers. The same emotional dulling also forces the user to be entirely aware of any severe issue hounding them – no more avoiding or deflecting problems. Only acceptance.
