Origin[]
The Western Jin dynasty was founded by Emperor Wu (265 - 316). Even though there was a period of unity after the defeat of the Eastern Wu the Jin suffered a devastating civil war called the War of the Eight Princes. The civil war left them devastated to the point where a nomadic tribe known as the Wu Hu managed to take over the capital city. During this time the generals of the nomadic army fought amongst themselves allowing Emperor Wu to earn a major Jin victory during the Battle of Fei River. Even with that battle won it was short lived as Emperor Liu Yu toppled Wu ordering his execution. Respecting Wu's belief Liu Yu had the former Emperor buried along with several Hunping Jars to secure his passage into the next life.
Effects[]
When the lid is cracked open in the direction of another person, that person's soul is removed and sucked into the jar. After this the victim will fall into a comatose state. This is not a viable form of imprisonment as paranormal energies will be drawn to the jar.
