Origin[]
The P.I.U.S. Device (or Process Inherent Ultimate Safety) was a originally a Swedish design concept for a light-water nuclear reactor system that did not require any one to operate or need external energy supplies, providing a safe operation. It was thought that no units were ever built, but in 1993 a workable prototype was made which actually seemed to work.
Effects[]
When activated the PIUS device seems to glow with apparent energy that seems to pulsate. The device however will eventually start to become mildly radioactive and actively dehydrate its surroundings to refill its water supply, including people and objects. The Swedish government deemed it too dangerous to be used, so Warehouse officials were contacted.
Now residing in the Warehouse inside a barrel drum made of Tungsten, never to be activated unless absolutely necessary, included in various Contingency Plans.
