Origin[]
During the Tokugawa bakufu a daimyo Asano Naganori was compelled to commit seppuku after assaulting a court official named Kira Yoshinaka. After their masters death his retainers became ronins and starts planning for revenge for their former masters honor. After two years the 47 ronin attacked Kira Yoshinaka's house and managed to kill Kira. But for their actions of commuting murder they were also compelled to commit seppuku and join their master in death.
Effects[]
Those that receive the sword will become loyal with utmost duty and dedication to the other person. They serve when needed of their own will, filling out any actions they judge to be in the giver's safety or interests. The giver however cannot directly order them to do tasks that go against the individual's own wishes, and cannot expressly give commands. Only their bond will strengthen. Direct family members of the giver will also experience a weaker version of this following.
Most times, there is no overriding effect on the recipient . But injuring or maiming the provider will force an urge to kill the wrongdoer in question. Only violence or being commanded to stop from the user will deactivate them.
