OriginEdit

“Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!” is often used to express surprise over an unlikely or ridiculous event, like anything from its source material Monty Python. This particular skit features unsuspecting blokes suddenly being pulled into a comical mock trial by several sentence happy and incompetent cardinals. One of their holy weapons is a padded chair – the living room variety, but with only one cup of coffee provided. Attempts to get the woman to confess only end up causing a fellow cardinal to beg mercy instead.

EffectsEdit

Allows the user to feel completely relaxed and calm. Even if they’re safety is at risk, their serotonin and melatonin levels will be too entertained to comply. It’s just too comfortable to dare leaving before sunset dawns. Nattering nellies will be flooded with minor annoyances – warm soda, parking tickets, mismatched socks and those little pieces of finger skin that hurt when pulled. REALLY badly.
