Origin Edit

This coffer is said to have been owned by Chirizu-Kakai-O, also known as Chikara-oni. He is said to be the king of all tsukumogami, and is also known as the Garbage King. In the Hyakki Yagyo Emaki scrolls he was introduced in, he used this chest to bring tsukumogami to life.

Effects Edit

This Karabitsu-type chest can accelerate the age of any object to 100 years. It then animates the object. The chest cannot animate an electrical object unless it is old and obsolete. How the tsukumogami will behave is based on how it was treated in life. If an object was handled properly, it will become a benevolent tsukumogami. However, if the object was mistreated, it will turn evil and try to take revenge on humans.

Collection Edit

On one of his Yokai-hunting quests, the famous samurai Minamoto-no-Yorimitsu slayed Chirizu-kakai-o and collected his Karabitsu-type chest.
