OriginEdit

The "Bayeux Tapestry" is an Embroidered cloth-Not an actual tapestry- around 70 m (230ft) in length which depicts the event leading up to the Norman conquest of England. The tapestry itself is not complete as it is torn. Scholars suggest that another 6.7 m (7.0 yd.) of cloth is missing and it would end with William of Normandy's coronation as King of England.
