Origins[]
Sir Terence David John "Terry" Pratchett, OBE (April 28, 1948-March 12, 2015) was an English author of fantasy novels, especially comical works. He is best known for his Discworld series of about 40 volumes. Pratchett's first novel, The Carpet People, was published in 1971, and since his first Discworld novel (The Colour of Magic) was published in 1983, he wrote two books a year on average.
Effects[]
The trunk "stores" imagination. When in the presence of an active imagination, and if it's unlocked, the trunk stores mental images and thoughts. When it bonds to a person, it follows them around for a while. Once it has followed a person for long enough and absorbed enough imagination, it can project the thoughts as hallucinatory images, allowing the owner to see physical representation of their ideas. The trunk was discovered by Prachett, and he used it to create his realistic and vivid charachters.
