When the artifact is not needed, it will teleport randomly around the room. When it senses that it is needed to sharpen a pencil, it will vanish. Curiously, it never seems to leave the immediate area and seems to take some pleasure in appearing just out of reach.
Collection[]
Artie collected this artifact from a small classroom in Wisconsin. It became a class game to try to catch the pencil sharpener, only for it to disappear to the other side of the room. Careful strategy was needed to box it in.
