Origin[]
A NeXT Computer was used by Berners-Lee as the world's first web server and also to write the first web browser, WorldWideWeb, in 1990. By Christmas 1990, Berners-Lee had built all the tools necessary for a working Web: the first web browser (which was a web editor as well); the first web server; and the first web pages, which described the project itself.
Today[]
Claudia and Mr. Stallwere talking about computers one day, and wondered if there could be a software which would allow them to slip into any system so they could track artifacts better. Leena chipped in that Sir Berners-Lee NeXT computer could do such a thing, and it was an artifact that the Warehouse was keeping an eye on just in case they ever had to get it.
After bugging Artie about the dangers of leaving such an artifact out in the world, Claudia and Mr. Stall set out to grab it. Luckily they were allowed to as someone stole the entire set for the exact same reasons. Knowing the downsides to the computer, they had no choice but to wait until it was used , and soon enough news broke out about bank records being stolen. Once Claudia traced the source to a location, both she and Mr. Stall got the artifact.
