The shirt given to Heracles' wife tainted with the blood of a centaur, Nessus.
History []
Nessus was a centaur who attempted to rape Heracles' wife. The hero shot Nessus with a poisoned arrow, but not before the dying centaur could give Heracles' wife a shirt tainted with his poisonous blood. He told her it would cast the one who wears it complete loyalty to their partner, but would actually kill them instead. When Heracles became smitten by his concubine Iolo, his wife gave Heracles the tainted shirt in an attempt to seal his loyalty. However, when it actually killed him, she committed suicide after hiding the vials of blood and shirt.

The Shirt of Nessus was found among the large collection of artifacts in the aftermath of the Disney Incident and was collected by agents Rick, Aden, and Felix. Because of it's near instant effect and incurable acidic touch, the item was moved to the Dark Vault.
