Origin[]
The Scales of Ma’at are an object used in Ancient Egyptian religion, said to weigh the heart of the deceased. If the person’s heart was equal to the weight of the Feather of Truth, they would be allowed to pass to Aaru. If their heart was heavy, it would be devoured by Ammit, and the person would cease to exist.
Effects[]
This artifact’s effects and/or downsides are currently unknown. Further research into them is currently pending.
Collection[]
Agent Taylor encountered the scales while passing by in the Duat caverns, but did not collect them. Due to their typically inactive state, alongside his personal religious beliefs, Agent Taylor reccomends they remain in the caverns.
