Origin[]
Sarah A. Bowman was an American innkeeper, restaurateur, and madam. Nicknamed "The Great Western", she gained fame, and the title "Heroine of Fort Brown", as a camp follower of Zachary Taylor's army during the Mexican–American War. When the Mexicans began sieging Fort Texas where she and her husband where stationed, she stayed to take care of the soldiers instead of leaving with the other women. She served food and maintained the weapons, even after being shot at through her bonnet and bread tray. Later on at the Battle of Buena Vista, she continued her services and punched a private who claimed that Taylor had been defeated.
Effects[]
Increases the amount of bravery in the user, making them not care about any danger they face. The downsides are all focused upon the user, not the space itself. They will become more aggressive, will lose the ability to read and write and will attract violence wherever they go.
Due to the experience of running a restaurant in a warzone, the tray has developed an interesting ability. It can rip one location out of its current space and move it to a new place. This rending makes the old space disappear while the new one temporarily takes its place.
