Origin[]

Saint Sebastian was killed under Roman emperor Diocletian’s reign, which emphasized the destruction of Christian worshippers and adherence to the Roman pantheon. Initially a member of the Praetorian Guard meant to defend the emperor, Sebastian’s faith was discovered and Diocletian’s archers shot him for his betrayal. However, Sebastian did not succumb to his wounds, even though there were enough to qualify him for a pegboard. Widowed Irene of Rome arrived expecting to bury a body, but instead nursed the young man back to health. Sebastian managed to find the emperor and condemn his distasteful actions towards Christians. After shaking of the moment of shock, Diocletian ordered his guards to surround Sebastian and club him to death.

Effects[]

Repels matter near the arrowhead and distorts it out of the way, preventing puncture. This unique effect can be temporarily disengaged if the user criticizes an opponent in a very loud and public manner. A special containment unit has been crafted by Eureka scientists for storage, otherwise agents are required to replace the shelving every year.

As a secondary effect, it also causes physical contact between objects and people to carry much more force than average. The user can move heavy loads and intercept fast projectiles with ease, but will also feel extensively more pain from light touches and such.
