Origin[]
RonRon the red fox was a fox that went viral on Youtube since 2013. Living with his owner Eric Mason, a member of the furry community, in Arkansas, he passed away in his sleep the night of April 5, 2015 at the age of 8 years, and was buried on the 6th, just after their Youtube channel celebrated reaching 100,000 subscribers. Two days later, Eric recieved the Youtube Silver Play Button to commemorate this milestone. He currently owns a new gray kit named Asriel.
As Eric described in the video "Goodbye silly RonRon sleep tight":
"I buried him in the ground, just outside his pen, under the Redbud Trees that shed their blossoms upon his seemingly sleeping form, the day of his death. I buried him curled up just like you see here, in the Arkansas soil that he so loved to dig in. I buried him with several of his fav toys, and with a branch of Dogwood in full bloom. I protected his grave with some pretty crystal-laiden Arkansas rocks, until I acquire a proper tombstone... several ideas as to how to design it..."
Effects[]
As soon as the day starts, the grave creates a specter identical in every way to RonRon, as if it were his soul manifested. It retains all his memories, mannerisms, and other behavior, even from previous "revivals". This manifestation is in no way hostile, and acts friendly to anone he interacts with. However, at night, the specter will curl up on top of of the grave and fade away, leaving those who interacted with RonRon both happy, yet mournful at the same time.
Cataloguing[]
The day after agent Garrett Scott learned of RonRon's passing, he immediately requested to be sent to check if an artfact had resulted from the fox. Upon observing all the toys, the bed, and other objects including the Play Button and discovering none of them were artifacts, Garrett was about to leave when RonRon appeared. While Eric initially tried to excuse the appearance of another red fox, it was apparent by it's behavior that it was indeed the same fox, and so his owner explained what he had discovered about the grave he created. Rather than neutralize the artifact, Agent Scott let it be after spending plenty of time with RonRon and Eric until the specter vanished. Since then, he has requested that the Warehouse divert a minor portion of its funding to help Eric care for Asriel.
Notes[]
As requested by Agent Scott, this artifact is to remain with Eric Mason until either the owner's passing, moving, or other notification, nor is it to be neutralized.
It has been noted that the downside seems to be somewhat dampened or even neutralized by Eric's presence.
