Origin[]
Created by Genghis Khan during the reign of Warehouse 7 in 12th Century Mongolia. Using Stones from the Servian Wall and some other unknown components, the Book of Thoth (or part of it) was able to transmute them into a wearable protective amulet. The shackle has been passed down from Guradian to Guardian since.
Effects[]
Creates a protective barrier of energy around the Warehouse when attacked, which facilitates the same effects of being a caretaker of the Warehouse. Being linked to the Shackle and the person wearing it.
History[]
In (year between 1219 and 1227), Genghis Khan induced the creation of an artifact, the shackle worn by a slave that had the ability to create a shield around the Warehouse.
In TBA, the shackle was transferred from TBA to Kūyīng Ren, facilitated by Head Regent Warwick de Winter.

In TBA, the shackle was transferred from TBA to Philip Petrov, facilitated by Head Regent Adwin Kosan.
In 2011, the shackle was transferred from Philip Petrov to Jane Lattimer shortly before Petrov's death via the Berlin Wall Spray Paint, facilitated by Head Regent Adwin Kosan. Later, the Warehouse shield was activated by Marcus Diamond's use of Black Bart's Cannon. The shield was used to trap Warehouse agents inside during the explosion created by the House of Commons Masonry as part of Walter Sykes' plan to destroy the Warehouse. After the Masonry was negated, the Regents saw the potential risk of a shield that does not allow those within the Warehouse to escape, and installed the lens created from King Virudhaka's Sand in the telescope of the Innes Observatory in South Dakota as a failsafe: by redirecting the laser scope's focus from the Alpha Centauri star system to Uranus, the shield will appear to remain active while allowing people to pass through.
In 2012, Paracelsus initiated the Warehouse's shield on command after his Caretaker connection to the Eldunari was strengthened, trapping Claudia Donovan inside with him and keeping all other personnel out. Myka Berring and Pete Lattimer went to the Innes Observatory and redirected the laser scope to Uranus, allowing them to pass through to apprehend Paracelsus.
