Origins[]
Red Adair was a firefighter who became well known for handling and extinguishing many oil well blowouts on both land and sea. Over the course of his life, he would extinguish more than 2,000 blowouts, fires and similar events.
Effects[]
The hardhat will burn off any natural gas and oil that is nearby it, with the vapors from it quickly dissipating away. However, it also removes the ability to produce fire from all nearby sources, such as lighters, matches and even combustion engines.
Trivia[]
- The artifact was used in conjunction with debris from the Amoco Cadiz Oil Spill to clean up an incident during Spring Cleaning when the Original Conch Shell activated. The hardhat harmlessly burned all the oil into gases, clearing the aisles of the oil.
