Origin[]
Raijin is the god of lightning, rain and storms in Shinto mythology. Depictions often portray him as a demonic looking entity that beats his drums to summon thunder. Many adults tell their children to hide their bellybutton during thunderstorms, as it is believed Raijin is responsible for eating children’s navels or abdomens.
Effects[]
Summons massive thunderstorms capable of blocking out the sky and continuously raining for several days. Lightning strikes cause user to experience painful stomach convulsions. When they breathe out, thick and cloudy mist will swirl away from their face.
