Origin[]
Rachel Carson was a marine biologist whose writings on environmentalism, including Silent Spring, exposed to the public the harm pesticides such as DDT caused to plants, animals and people. Her work helped ban harmful pesticides and foster growth in grassroots environmentalism groups, which helped lead to the creation of the Environmental Protection Agency.
Effects[]
Wherever the wearer walks, plants will sprout and grow at unnatural speed. Nearby land and water sources will become saturated with the pesticide DDT and will accelerate the death rate of plants and animals.
