Origin[]
A proud Russian nationalist with a great amount of civic pride, Potemkin was a stickler for respect. A legend goes that when he went to speak with King Frederick the Third of Denmark, the king was bedridden and could only address Potemkin in bed. As a show of equality, Potemkin supposedly ordered another bed into the chamber, and spent the entire visit addressing the king as such.
Effects[]
When two people sleep in the beds, their health will level off so that each will be equally healthy or unhealthy. For example, if someone with a bad cold sleeps in Potemkin's bed, and a perfectly healthy person sleeps in Frederick the Third's bed, both will wake up with a slight cold. It has been found that both must be neutralized to negate the effects.
Collection[]
The beds were found separately by Subhas Chandra Bose sometime in the 1930s. Agent Clifford West later located them after they took control of Bose's collection.
Trivia[]
Despite the fact that they are beds, they are kept within the Health/Medical wing because of their healing effects. The beds have sometimes been used to soften the effects of particularly nasty artifacts, or at least buy some time. To split the effects evenly between two people often slows progression down.
