Pryderi was born in Arberth to Pwyll, Lord of Dyfed and Rhiannon. However on the night of his birth he disappeared while in care of six of Rhiannon's ladies-in-waiting. To avoid the king's wrath, they smeared dog's blood onto a sleeping Rhiannon claiming that she had killed Pryderi in her sleep. Teyrnon, the Lord of Gwent, had a mare who gave birth each year but all of its foals had disappeared as well. Watching the stables while the mare gave birth he noticed a beast coming to eat the babe. Killing it he discovered a child inside of the creature's stomach as well. In Teyrnon's care the child grew at a superhuman pace and the likeness to the Lord of Dyfed was too much to claim a different parentage. Teyrnon took his foster son back to his birth parents and they were reunited. As a parting gift Teyrnon gave Pryderi the golden bowl. When Pwyll died Pryderi took up reign as the Dyfed King he became ruler of the seven land division and set about expanding his territories by conquering others around him
Effects[]
Missing for an extended period of time Teyrnon had a golden bowl that he allowed Pryderi to drink from. Using a method that wasn't left behind in documents Teyrnon stopped Pryderi from aging at the age of eighteen. When drinking from the bowl now the user ages to ash.
