Origin[]

In Greek mythology Procrustes was a rogue smith and bandit from Attica who would attack and subdue targets. Afterwards he would stretch the victims or cut of their legs so that they could fit on an iron bed that he had built. The bed was purposely too small as Procrustes didn't want the victim to fit unless he hurt them somehow going as far as amputating anyone who was taller than the bed to fit perfectly. The reign of terror continued until Theseus caught and killed him by placing Procrustes to his own bed.

Effects[]

Laying on the bed will activate the artifact. It will start working like the medieval torture device the rack, until all the bones in the victims' limbs are torn from their sockets.
