Origin[]
In December of 2003 David Hart claimed to have found a pickled dragon or what appeared to be a fetus of a winged reptile-type creature preserved in a 30-inch tall jar of formaldehyde found in his garage. Hart, along with his friend Allistair Mitchell, told the press that it was a dragon and along with the jar they found documents suggesting it had been offered to the Natural History Museum in the late nineteenth century by German scientists. Mitchell suggested it was an attempt by the Germans to discredit their British colleagues. In reality the dragon was made by the model-makers behind the BBC TV series Walking with Dinosaurs. It had been a hoax, a publicity stunt to publicize Mitchell's upcoming novel.
Effects[]
The collective want for proof of real dragons were imbued in the glass model and after the news of the hoax died down and less and less people went to check it out the dragon started to wake up.
Collection[]
Stored at Oxford University agents went to check out a series of mischievous pranks that were occurring at the oddest times. After discovering the glass dragon and learning of the properties a third agent was requested and the Pickled Dragon was caught.
