Peter Sutcliffe Coonan (1946 - 2020) was an English serial killer convicted of murdering thirteen women and the attempt to murder seven others. The press dubbed him the Yorkshire Ripper due to his victims being mainly prostitutes. Psychologists believe that his violence towards women started after he was swindled out of money by a prostitute and her pimp. When interviewed he declared that he was the Hand of God because god spoke to him. Traveling in a stolen car he would change the plates after every kill in order to evade the police.
