Peter Piper[]
Published in 1813, Peter Piper is an english language tongue twister.
"Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers.
A peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked.
If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers,
Where's the peck of pickled peppers that Peter Piper picked?"
Artifact[]
Found in a London pub, this jar of pickled peppers caused an a near pandemic when the whole town found itself literally tongue tied. Eating a pickled pepper from the jar causes the eater's tongue to get all twisted and prevents the victim from making coherent words.
In order to reverse the effects, the victim must recite the Peter Piper tongue twister (even if it sounds like complete babble). The jar of peppers is not self-replenishing, but placing a pepper in and allowing it to pickle will produce the same effect.
