Origin[]
Paul Broca was a physician who discovered a particular region of the frontal lobe that affected linguistic control, now named Broca’s area in his honor. Many patients with speech conditions have some damage to the left frontal lobe, which is still being studied today by scientists. Broca also worked as an anthropologist, believing the measurements and shape of the skull affected mental functions such as intelligence, a now debunked theory.
Effects[]
Instantaneously clips the handlers vocal chords, rendering them mute. Any attempts to speak will at best be sounds created from movement within their mouth. It also causes the user’s skull to slightly grow and shrink at random times, causing brief but annoying headaches.
