Origin[]

Patrick Suskind (1949 - ) is a German writer and screenwriter, best known for his internationally acclaimed novel: Perfume: The Story of a Murderer. Even though the main character in the novel is Jean-Baptiste Grenouille and is considered fiction it's actually laced with truth and about the French Serial Killer Jean Grenier who killed women and young children in order to perfect the perfect perfume by 'bottling' them (placing the alive victim into a tank filled three fourths of water then sealing the top). A lot of the story is romanticized however Suskind did come across Grenier as he was bottling a missing woman. Instead of going to the police with the bottle of perfume he stole Suskind let it be until Grenier was caught. The bottle remained in Suskind's possession until it was collected.

Effects[]

Those who inhale the scent will fall madly in love with user. Affected person will eventually become stifling, and extended use will drive the affected to kill user to get as close as possible to them.
