Origin[]
Hittite cuneiform is the implementation of cuneiform script used in writing the Hittite language. The surviving corpus of Hittite texts is preserved in cuneiform on clay tablets dating to the 2nd millennium BC (roughly spanning the 17th to 12th centuries BC).
Found at a dig in Boğazkale, Turkey sometime around 1845. The Cuneiform tablet describes a man's excitement to another man named Daraksu, about papyrus and how he's only going to use it from now on.
(daraksu, I am at great marvelous joy with this papyrus, I am able to draw, write and make drawings of you to share. I wish for you to use this as well, I am heavy with joy that you will use it as well, daraksu. I wish it to last. Until i write to you. write to me back in papyrus. )
The emotions and excitement writing about papyrus on the cuneiform tablet imbued it with papyrus strengthening abilities.
