The Tragedy of Othello is a tragedy by William Shakespeare. The play tells of a Venetian general who happens to be a Moor and is tricked by one of his jealous soldiers Iago to think that his wife Desdemona is unfaithful. In the end, the general kills his wife with a pillow and commits suicide after finding out the truth.
