Origin[edit | edit source]

"A person drinking alone in a bar, usually a traveling business man, is approached by a beautiful woman who flirts and buys the man a drink. The bartender is on in the theft and drugs the man's drink for the woman. When they wake up they are in a bathtub in a strange hotel room submerged in ice. There is a note, taped or just written on the wall instructing them not to move and to call 911. When shifted they feel pain and using a phone left nearby calls 911. The operator called the paramedics but asks the man where the pain is. After describing it the operator informs him that the business man's kidneys had been harvested for the black market."

Several different variations of this story is the basic idea behind the Kidney Thefts Urban Legend.
