OriginEdit

Metacomet was a Wampanoag who tried to make trade and harmony between his tribe and British colonists. He succeeded his brother Wamsutta and father Massasoit, married Wamsutta's widow Weetamoo and sister Wootonekanuske and had an unidentified number of children. In the beginning, he tried to establish trust with the colonists, adopting the name King Philip and buying his clothes from Boston merchants. However, colonial expansion into territory of other tribes eventually visited Metacomet. The conflict grew into outright war until a group of rangers fatally shot Metacomet.

EffectsEdit

Allows a user to drive people out of their land and create a barrier between them. It is impenetrable to all hostile persons, instruments and weapons. The carving is powered by the energy of the user’s family members and the amount of similarities between them and the adversary. Healthier or larger families provide increased range and durability, while weaker subjects make the shield vulnerable to harm. The more parallels the user and combatant share, the stronger the shield becomes to both sides.

However, simultaneous contact on both sides will deactivate the barrier as long as the subjects are separated apart. Bringing them together will reestablish the barrier, with a smaller secondary containment centered around the users.
