Origin[edit | edit source]

The collapse of the South Tower on 9/11 killed many people who could not get out in time, both civilian and firemen. These shoes absorbed the intense emotion of their wearer right before he died and became an artifact.

Effects[edit | edit source]

Wearing the Shoes allows the user to experience the victim's day as if they were the victim with life-like illusions of being in the South Tower. The illusion can be interacted with to a degree, meaning the user is free to move around and talk to people, but the end result is never changed. All of the feelings and emotions are transferred into the wearer, which increases their heartrate. The experience ends with the death of the victim falling through the air with rubble around you as the South Tower collapsed. Also causes a fear heights and a paranoia about airplanes.

Collection[edit | edit source]

This artifact was collected by Agent Felix Draco in late January 2013 after an old man was hospitalized after having a heart attack and was reported as screaming that he was falling down to his death. Felix found out the shoes belonged to a victim to the 9/11 attacks who was killed when the South Tower collapsed, absorbing the day and allowing people who wore the shoes to relive the day as if they were the victim. They were retrieved and placed with the other artifacts relating to terrorism in the Tragedy Annex.
