Melchisédech Thévenot, professional dabbler in all matters 17th century intellectual. Cartography, diplomacy, writing and invention were all subjects he enjoyed delving into, funding other colleagues to venture further into the unknown. His longest lasting achievements include the invention of the spirit level to check the degree of tilt in construction, and publishing the predecessor to the modern-day breaststroke.

Will turn any object perfectly smooth and level if the material is moldable or non-uniform in shape. Rigid objects will just be maneuvered so they are oriented perfectly in parallel with the nearby ground. Known to occasionally leak out bubbles which have a tendency of gobbling up any item or person related to intellectual pursuits.
