Origin[edit | edit source]
Marco Polo was a Venetian merchant and explorer who traveled to and introduced Europeans to the cultures in Central Asia and China. On his travels through Asia, he met Kublai Khan, grandson of Genghis Khan. When Polo returned to Venice, it was at war with Genoa and he was imprisoned, but later released. Although not the first European to travel to China, his accounts helped inspire later explorers, such as Christopher Columbus.
Effects[edit | edit source]
While the lid of the compass is closed and a name is spoken, when reopened, the needle will point to that person. It is very handy and used by field agents but is only effective on a smaller scale.
