OriginEdit

Lucius Apuleius was an ancient Roman writer who was a member of several religious schools or cults. The most famous incident in his life was when he was accused of using magic to gain the attentions (and fortune) of a wealthy widow, but then successfully defended himself in court. His most famous work the Metamorphoses, also known as “The Golden Ass”, is the only Latin novel to have fully survived. In it, irreverent and foolhardy Lucius is practicing with magic when s he accidently transforms himself into a donkey. His travels enlighten him in a way, where he is unknowingly privy to many secret and unusual things.

EffectsEdit

Makes the user act like a donkey. Their stature will shrink but be able to shoulder heavy loads with relative ease. The ears will change shape, becoming flat and droopy and they will develop that famous wheezing laugh associated with donkeys.
