OriginEdit

Louis XIV was King of France from 1643 until his death in 1715. Symbolized as the Sun King, his reign of 72 years and 110 days is the longest of any monarch of a major country in European history. In the age of absolute rulers in Europe, Louis XIV's France was a leader in the growing centralization of power towards a monarch or other head of state. Adhering to the idea of the divine right of kings, Louis instituted absolutist rule by removing the remnants of feudalism, involving France in wars at his own behest and lording over the nobility at his palace of Versailles.

EffectsEdit

Imbued with it's king's self worth and esteem, anyone who touches the dial will go into a state of hypnotized catatonia while their memories from the past twenty-four hours are displayed in the room around them. The dial must be released before the twenty-four mark hits, or the user will be trapped in an endless retrieval of the memories of the past day.
