OriginEdit

Lisa Howard (1930 - 1965) was born Dorothy Jean Guggenheim, changing it to Lisa Howard when she became a female correspondent to ABC News. Though the first of her kind, a female field reporter, Howard was able to get into high profile news events such as the Vienna Summit (1961), a peace talk between the US and Soviet Union as well as getting to sit with and interview Cuban leader Fidel Castro personally. It was because of her support for Presidential candidate Kenneth Keating over Robert Kennedy she was fired which was the start of her anxiety. This anxiety resulted in a miscarriage and after suffering through a deep depression she overdosed and died.
