Origin[edit | edit source]

Leonardo Da Vinci dabbled in many fields of interest, including science, painting, invention, music, engineering, music and literature. The epitome of the Renaissance man, his works are some of the most famous and plentiful, including world famed paintings and journals of mechanical drawings and medical texts. Many of said texts were written in mirror script, backwards text that only became legible when looked at through a mirror. Although many think Leonardo used this to keep his findings secret and illegible to plagiarizers, it was also likely easier to write backwards as he was left-handed.

Effects[edit | edit source]

Light reflected off of the mirror will reveal hidden messages and symbols, but they will be erased as soon as the light is removed.
