OriginEdit

Lawrence Welk was the son of German immigrants and was raised in a German speaking town of North Dakota. He was an accordion player, singer, and band leader whose musical styles gave birth to what was known as "Champagne Music". The music style was characterized by sweet melodies with upbeat tempos meant to be dance music. For decades he played with his band until he could produce his own show in LA, the Lawrence Welk Show. The show went on to air for thirty years.

EffectsEdit

When played the accordion will cause bubbles to appear and float around the immediate area. Those that come into contact with the bubbles will feel happy and bubbly for about 56 minutes, the length of the average Lawrence Welk Show episode, minus commercials.

CollectionEdit

Collected by Artie after a polka band caused an uproar at Oktoberfest in Idaho. After the bubbles started appearing the crowd started a wild jig that ended with some mild property damage. Eyewitness reports of the bubbles appearing were written off as "too much celebration".
