OriginEdit

According to legend, Lady Godiva was a noblewoman who rode horseback through town naked, only covered by her long hair. They were heavily indebted to her husband’s high taxes and she begged him to release them. He jokingly said he would only do so if she were to ride naked through the town. She took his word as a serious contract, performed it and the town was released from his debt. To keep her dignity, she ordered every townsfolk to stay off the streets and close their doors. However, a peasant tailor named Thomas disobeyed this order, carving a hole in his door to spy on the lady as she rode past his home - only to be struck blind as soon as she arrived. This gave rise to the saying “peeping tom”.

EffectsEdit

Encourages women who touch it to recreate Godiva's famous ride. Any men that happen to see this sight, whether intentionally or by accident, will be severely blinded and unable to see for long periods of time.
