OriginEdit

The website One red paperclip was created by Canadian blogger Kyle MacDonald. MacDonald famously bartered his way from a single red paperclip to a house in a series of trades online over the course of a year. The first trade he did, a red paperclip for a fish-shaped pen, on July 14th 2005 and completed the train chain on July 5th 2006, a movie role for a two story house, where the blogger currently resides.

EffectsEdit

From an envelope to a red solo cup, anything the red paperclip is placed into appears more valuable to people who see it.

CollectionEdit

According to Agent Lattimer the box that holds the red paperclip is worth sixteen of his random baseball cards but of course he isn't able to complete the trade.
