Origin[]
Kaldi was a goatherd of Ethiopian legend credited by some to be the discoverer of coffee. The stories say that one day he observed his goats acting overly energetic after consuming small berries on a bush and, after tasting some himself, noticed a large boost in energy. He excitably took his discovery to some local monks, but they threw his samples into a fire in contempt.
However, noticing the rich aroma coming from the burning fruit, the beans inside were fished out, ground into a powder and mixed with hot water, making the first consumable coffee.
Seen briefly in background passing during the Season 2 premiere Time Will Tell.
Effects[]
When the horn is held up to the nose and inhaled, the user will feel a massive boost in energy consistant with a strong caffeine hit. After a few hours the effect runs down and the user is left tired and irritable. Use of this artifact can lead to addiction-like behaviour.
