Origin[]
Károly Takács was the first shooter to win two Olympic gold medals in the 25 meter rapid fire pistol event, both with his left hand .He is the third known physically disabled athlete to have competed in the Olympic Games, as his right hand was injured due to a faulty grenade.
Takács was determined to continue his shooting career, and switched to shooting with his left hand. He practiced in secret, surprising his countrymen when he won the Hungarian national pistol shooting championship in the spring of 1939. He won gold in 1948 in London and 1952 in Helsinki.
Effects[]
The user will experience great muscular control over their non-dominant hand, allowing them to perform precise finger and hand movements with ease. Unfortunately, the dominant hand gradually weakens until it is to physically damaged to recreate motions it could in the past.
