OriginEdit

Justin O. Schmidt is an entomologist, author, and researcher who invented the Schmidt Sting Pain Index, used to study and quantify the relative pain of an insect sting. The pain levels are rated 1 to 4, with 4 being ranked the most painful. In his studies, Schmidt subjected himself to stings from countless wasps, bees, spiders, scorpions, and other insects. So far the most painful insect sting listed belongs to the bullet ant and the tarantula hawk (a type of wasp). In 2015 he won an Ig Nobel Award for his work.

EffectsEdit

When the mask is worn it allows the wearer to summon any of the insects listed on the Schmidt Sting Pain Index and control them. When the mask is removed however, the insects become uncontrollable.

CollectionEdit

Collected from a man attempting to disguise the murder or his wife as a random killer bee attack. This caught the warehouse's attention as the incident occurred in Alaska, far beyond the current nesting grounds of killer bees.
