Origin[]
Julius Bernhard Friedrich Adolph Wilbrand (22 August 1839 – 22 June 1906) was a German chemist who discovered trinitrotoluene in 1863, but the compound's use as an explosive was not developed until later. Wilbrand obtained trinitrotoluene or TNT by the nitration of toluene.
Effects[]
A set of eight (possibly more) buttons from the lab coat of the inventor of TNT. When all eight are set down near each other, they briefly sparkle like a lit fuse before exploding with the force of several pounds of explosive. Buttons reform nearby after detonating.
Appearances[]
Used in an unsuccessful attempt to destroy Hiram Abiff's Compass in Cangku Shisi.
